Event Activities
Event activities at Essex Jamboree are included in the registration fee. However there are dozens of other opportunities for pre or post jamboree visits. For example London is 40 km from the site.. 
Essex Jamboree Booking
 Canadian Scouts, Venturers, Rovers and adult volunteers can attend. Youth must be between 10 and 17 years old as of the start of the Jamboree.
Those over 18 can attend as Scouters with a patrol or with an Offer of Service on Jamboree staff.
We are putting together composite patrols for those Scouters and youth who want to participate but whose own group is not sending a patrol.

Flight Plans
Youth patrols and Offers of Service adults from across Canada will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements from their nearest airport. Contingent meetings will address local transportation in the UK depending on independent travel plans.  

Essex Jamboree 2024

July 27-August 3, 2024
We will be tenting and purchasing and cooking on site to satisfy our hunger. Cooking equipment will be rented locally, but we need to either rent or bring our own tents. Remember to pack light if you plan a pre or post tour in England or Europe.

Contingent Online Meetings
 We hold regular update meetings for groups interested in going  on Zoom every 4th Sunday of the month.
Times are: N.L.: 8:30 pm; N.S./P.E.I./N.B.: 8 PM, QC./ON 7 PM;  MAN/ 6 PM; SASK/ALTA; 5 PM; BC 4 PM.
